BSH Remediation Limited (BSH) were commissioned by Lioncourt Homes to deliver a site wide asbestos removal, demolition, remediation and bulk earthworks project in Stoke on Trent. The site (a former school) was to be redeveloped on a difficult site with significant slope issues from the front of the site to the rear of the site.
Through detailed ground modelling and re-engineering of site soils to create development platforms, a comprehensive and cost-effective design solution was delivered for the scheme.

BSH managed the project with Lioncourts technical and construction teams to maximise opportunities for the development and client.
BSH managed the notifiable asbestos removal with one of our sub-contractor partners, and managed the soft strip of the former school buildings and demolition works.
The project was delivered back to the client with a guaranteed foundation solution with all soils re-engineered for a vibro ground improvement solution and in accordance with Series 600 Specification for Highways.
