BSH Remediation Limited were commissioned by Keon Homes & PGIM Real Estate UK Rental Housing LP to undertake remediation and bulk earthworks to facilitate their proposed residential development of the land off Great Central Road, Mansfield (the former Mansfield Brewery) .
Regeneration of the former Mansfield Brewery Site included the construction of 24 Houses and 27 Apartments (A mix of 2 and 3 bed). Works on the site included a new adoptable road to be constructed under a S38 agreement and all other associated infrastructure works include all hard and soft landscaping.

BSH Remediation complied a comprehensive Remediation Strategy for the proposed remediation works which was agreed with the Regulatory Bodies.
Complexities on site included significant in-ground structures including tunnels from the previous use of the site as a brewery and boundary issues all of which were overcome during the remediation ad earthworks.
Councilor Kate Allsop commented “ … Whilst some may look back to the past and lament at inevitable change, our efforts are best concentrated in looking towards the future – which I believe is much brighter than the past. We’re going to breathe new life into the old Brewery, creating a place which will once again play a major role in the economic and social life of Mansfield”.
